Sadio Mané

Sadio Mané, born on 10 April 1992, is a Senegalese left winger. As of October 2026 he plays for Saudi Pro League club Al-Nassr and for the Senegal national team. He began his professional career at Metz in Ligue 2.
France Football and L'Équipe list Mané as one of the 30 nominees for the 2026 Ballon d'Or, which honours the season's best men's player. He has placed high in the vote before, finishing fourth in 2019 and second in 2022.
He won a league and cup double with Red Bull Salzburg in 2013–14, then moved to Southampton, where he scored the fastest hat-trick in Premier League history, in 176 seconds against Aston Villa in 2015. Liverpool signed him in 2016 for a reported £34 million. There he won the 2019 Champions League, shared the 2018–19 Premier League Golden Boot and helped end the club's 30-year wait for a league title in 2019–20.
With 55 goals in 132 caps, he is Senegal's all-time top scorer and second in appearances. He has played at seven editions of the Africa Cup of Nations, was named African Footballer of the Year after the 2019 tournament and scored the winning kick in the 2021 final.
