Marquinhos, born Marcos Aoás Corrêa on 14 May 1994, is a Brazilian centre-back. As of October 2026 he captains both Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain and the Brazil national team. He joined Corinthians at the age of eight.

France Football and L'Équipe name him as one of the 30 nominees for the 2026 Ballon d'Or, the award for the best men's footballer of the season. He captained PSG to their first two Champions League titles, in 2025 and 2026.

After winning the 2012 Copa Libertadores with Corinthians and spending a season at Roma, he moved to PSG in 2013 for €31.4 million. With the club he has won a record 11 Ligue 1 titles, 14 domestic cups and two Champions Leagues, the first as part of a 2025 continental treble, and he holds the club record for appearances with more than 500.

For Brazil he won the 2014 Toulon Tournament with the under-21s, Olympic gold in 2016 and the 2019 Copa América. He has played at three World Cups, in 2018, 2022 and 2026.
