Kylian Mbappé

Kylian Mbappé is a French professional footballer, born on 20 December 1998 in Paris and raised in Bondy. He plays as a forward for Real Madrid in La Liga and is captain of the France national team. Wikipedia credits him with more than 400 senior goals and lists him as the all-time top scorer of Paris Saint-Germain and of France.

Bleacher Report and Sports Illustrated (Español) both ranked Mbappé No. 2 among the world's players in 2025, The Guardian placed him fourth, FourFourTwo fifth and the IFFHS sixth. At the 2025 Ballon d'Or France Football ranked him seventh, and he is on the 2026 shortlist of 30 nominees. Sports Illustrated (Español) described a devastating scoring year at Real Madrid in which he averaged close to a goal per game and led the race for the Golden Shoe.

Mbappé began at Monaco, winning the 2016–17 Ligue 1 title, and then moved to PSG, where he won 15 trophies including six league titles and was the league's top scorer a record six times. He joined Real Madrid on a free transfer in 2024, won the UEFA Super Cup and the Intercontinental Cup in his first season and took the European Golden Shoe in 2025. With France he won the 2018 World Cup as a teenager, scored a hat-trick in the 2022 final, and Wikipedia records that he won the Golden Boot at the 2026 World Cup with 10 goals; he is also the highest scorer in World Cup history with 22 goals.
