Karolinska University Hospital (Karolinska Universitetssjukhuset) is a teaching hospital in Stockholm, Sweden, affiliated with Karolinska Institutet. It has two main sites, in Solna and Huddinge, and was formed in 2004 by merging Huddinge University Hospital with the Karolinska Hospital in Solna. It is the second-largest hospital network in Sweden, after Sahlgrenska University Hospital.

Newsweek and Statista rank Karolinska No. 4 in World's Best Hospitals 2026, a Top 250 list for which more than 2,500 hospitals were evaluated, with extra weight on patient-reported outcome measures. It is the only hospital outside North America in that edition's top five. Wikipedia notes that the hospital has been in Newsweek's world top 10 every year since 2021.

Around 15,000 people work at the hospital, which has 1,340 patient beds and includes the Astrid Lindgren Children's Hospital in Solna and the Children's Hospital in Huddinge. In 2008 Stockholm County Council decided to replace many old Solna buildings, spread over more than 40 buildings, with a new complex known as the New Karolinska Solna project. It was built as a public–private partnership, and Wikipedia notes that the project was controversial.
