Sources
Who is hot is decided by the press that writes about it — the gossip, celebrity, fashion and farándula outlets below — not by an encyclopedia.
Add a source
Know an outlet that names the hottest people first? Nominate it. A nomination costs USD 1,900 and includes our study of the source — how often and how reliably it names hot people, in which language and for which audience. Once approved, it joins the list below and is scanned on every run. Votes cost USD 1.99 each and help the source's position in our algorithm.
The rules
- Every run searches these outlets live for headlines that call people the sexiest, hottest or most beautiful.
- Only headlines published in the last 6 months count. Anything older is dropped.
- A name counts only if it is written in the headline itself. Nobody is added from memory.
- A person's score is the number of different outlets that named them; each link is kept on their page.
- Adults only.

Data behind the rankings
Not every outlet names someone on every run. The list shows where we look; each person's page shows who actually named them.
