SINGAPORE, SINGAPORE

Changi Airport (IATA: SIN) is the main international airport of Singapore, located in the Changi area in the east of the country, about 24 km from the city centre. It is the home base of Singapore Airlines, Singapore Airlines Cargo and the low-cost carrier Scoot, and more than 100 international airlines fly there. The airport is managed by the government-owned Changi Airport Group.
Skytrax ranked Changi No. 1 in the World's Top 100 Airports in both 2025 and 2026. Travel + Leisure readers placed it No. 1 among international airports in 2026, with a score of 95.19, after No. 2 in 2025. The magazine says it is "back on top after a two-year hiatus" and praises its efficient operations, hospitality and amenities such as a butterfly garden and a swimming pool. Condé Nast Traveller (UK) readers voted it No. 1 in 2025, when they singled out its lounges, and No. 2 in 2026.
As of 2025 Changi handled about 70 million passengers, making it the 16th-busiest airport in the world by passenger traffic according to Wikipedia. It has three runways, each 4 km long, and several passenger terminals. FedEx Express has also made it a principal cargo hub, helped by Singapore's central location and its high volume of transit traffic.
