Rosewood Mayakoba

Rosewood Mayakoba is a beachfront resort on Mexico's Riviera Maya, between Cancún and Playa del Carmen, within the Mayakoba development that also includes Fairmont Mayakoba. It opened in 2008 and is surrounded by lagoons, jungle and coastline.
La Liste put it tenth on its 2025 list of the ten best hotels in the world, and in 2026 it is among the ten hotels that share the top spot, each scoring 99.5 out of 100. The resort says it has held Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star status for more than ten consecutive years and received two Michelin keys in 2025.
Its 129 suites each have a plunge pool and a dedicated butler, and guests reach them by electric boat through the lagoons. There are two beach clubs and the Sense Spa, and dining centres on La Ceiba and the well-known Zapote Bar.
