Raffles Istanbul
Istanbul, Turkey
Raffles Istanbul is a five-star hotel in Istanbul, Turkey, managed by Raffles Hotels & Resorts. It opened on 1 September 2014 as part of the Zorlu Center, a complex of residences, offices, a shopping mall and a performing arts centre.
Travel + Leisure readers placed it No. 2 in the World's Best Awards 2025 list of the 100 favourite hotels in the world, with a score of 99.91. The magazine calls it a frequent winner since its opening and a "quietly elegant oasis" on a hill with views over the city and the Bosphorus; in 2025 it also topped T+L's list of Istanbul hotels.
The building, designed by Emre Arolat and Tabanlıoğlu Architecture, rises 134 metres. T+L counts 185 rooms and suites with butler service around the clock. Wikipedia adds an art collection of about 200 works, a ballroom for 1,200 people linked to the performing arts centre, eight restaurants and bars, and a spa of 3,000 square metres with three Turkish hammams and indoor and outdoor pools.
