Big JJ Seafood Hotpot

Hong Kong

Big JJ Seafood Hotpot is a hotpot restaurant in Hong Kong. Food & Wine says it has become a favourite of locals and visitors for fresh seafood and flavourful broths.

Food & Wine ranks Big JJ Seafood Hotpot No. 8 in its Global Tastemakers 2025 list of the top 15 international restaurants. The magazine notes that the restaurant itself jokingly calls its lively, communal style "noisy, rude, and overrated", yet finds it a warm place for friends and families.

The highlight is a wide range of beef cuts bought daily at local markets, such as inner beef tongue, third stomach and beef balls, along with silkie chicken. Broths are cooked in custom steel pots and range from tonkatsu ramen broth to spicy Sichuan and milder seafood bases, finished with house-made condiments and dipping sauces. Food & Wine warns of long queues and mentions cold beer.
