Pedri
Barcellona/Spagna

Pedri, born Pedro González López on 25 November 2002, is a Spanish professional footballer. He plays as a midfielder for Barcelona in La Liga and for the Spain national team. He came through the youth system of Las Palmas and was promoted to their first team at 16.
FourFourTwo ranked Pedri No. 7 in its 2025 list of the world's best players, the IFFHS placed him eighth, and The Guardian and Bleacher Report both had him tenth. FourFourTwo described him as perhaps the most irreplaceable midfielder in Europe and "a veteran in a youngster's body", noting that much of Barcelona's and Spain's play flows through him even when he does not score or assist.
Pedri moved to Barcelona in 2020 and won the Copa del Rey in his first season, as well as the Golden Boy and the Kopa Trophy in 2021. Despite injury setbacks he was a key part of the domestic treble in 2024–25. For Spain he was named Young Player of the Tournament at Euro 2020, played a central role in winning Euro 2024 and, according to Wikipedia, helped Spain win the 2026 World Cup.
